Wow! Congrats! Kudos to Bilibili for recognizing that this is an infinitely more sensible and efficient solution than hiring their own translators and having lawyers send you a Cease and Desist letter.
Oh…hm… the Bilibili Comics site seems pretty sus to me…. It doesn’t have any direct links to any other Bilibili sites and no contact information at all, which you would expect to see in any legitimate site from a large company and do see on their Chinese comics site….this English Bilibili Comics site also looks very amateur by comparison. I also can’t seem to find an official press release about this development, at least not in English. Are you sure this is legit and not just some randos using Bilibili’s name? I hope I’m wrong…
Okay, Bilibili has confirmed to a number of concerned fans that it is legit. They probably could have improved the messaging around it and made the presentation more consistent, but I’m so relieved and this is super exciting!
